There was soo much rain today.. It was like raining for the whole day with short breaks in between, what made it worse was that i didn't have any umbrella so naturally i got soaked in the rain.
I had an Oral Assignment for Commercial law due today, i think it went alright. We had to do a whole court hearing during the tutorial, and naturally, i was one of the lawyers, as that was part of the assignment. When the court hearing started, i got really anxious and nervous, not because im afraid of talking to people in my tute group, but more afraid of stuffing up my oral assessment and doing poorly in my assignment. My hands wouldn't stop being restless, and my legs wouldn't stop shaking(partly due to the fact that i was cold too). So immediately i prayed to God that He will give me peace, peace that will calm me down so that when i speak i won't be nervous and rush it. Well thank God, by the time it was my turn to speak, i had surprisingly calmed down heaps, even to the extend that i could crack a joke and start laughing(which i didn't of course..). So i hope that i did well in this assignment :)
Today for devotion decided to go back to psalms again, mainly because i find it really encouraging most of the times. I decided to start right at the beginning at chapter 1.
1 Blessed is the man
who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked
or stand in the way of sinners
or sit in the seat of mockers.
but the way of the wicked will perish.
Reading this was like reading a chapter from books that teach you rules on successful living. It is short and sweet, yet has such great meaning behind each verse, God's word really feeds the spirit. To summarize, blessed is the man who does not hang around wicked people, or be found together with sinners, and sit with mockers. But his delight is in the word of God and meditating on it day and night. Amen! don't we all want to be blessed! In verse 3 it goes about how you will be blessed, and in verse 4 the consequences of the wicked! Its great to know that the wicked people do get punished, and that justice is carried out. And finally in verse 6 it says that "For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish."Just reading that makes me want to thank God that i am considered righteous in His sight, and that He watches over us all the time.
Thank you Lord that your such a great God, that you love us, care for us, and that your always watching over us. Thank you for calling us your righteousness, and for blessing us abundantly in all Your goodness. I just want to pray that You'll continue to be with at every step of the way as we continue in this journey of life, living to lift Your name high, and bringing salvation too the lost. I pray that your Holy Spirit will make this tent a permanent dwelling place, and remain as the ruling spirit my life. May i grow closer and closer to You each day, and may i hear Your voice clearer in my life. I pray blessings over all my family and friends, and that You'll send your Revival Fires to NLCC!!! In Jesus name i pray, Amen.
Send the fire, send the fire, send the fire today!

and on his law he meditates day and night.
3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither.
Whatever he does prospers.
4 Not so the wicked!
They are like chaff
that the wind blows away.
5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
but the way of the wicked will perish.
