Sunday's are the most exciting and packed days everr.. i was at church from 9.30am all the way till 10.30pm, more than half the day spent at church! but it was fun :) besides the fact that i was an hour late for worship practice because i somehow didn't wake up on time(felt really bad)....
Ps Nathanael gave a really interesting sermon, one that i've never heard before or could see coming. He talked about the enemy sowing tares(weeds) as we were sleeping, then he talked about honouring God, the Holy Spirit, and the word. At the end he talked about Samson sleeping on Delilah's lap, and coming back to our first love! I found the whole sermon really good and it really spoke to me. I got really intrigued when he asked us who's lap are we sleeping on. Learnt that i haven't really been honouring God, and the Holy Spirit much, that i haven't been sensitive enough towards them, taking them lightly and for granted..

Bilingual service was good, but what happened after that was even better! Henry, Rowan, Aaron, and I got together and had a worship/prayer time together.(just for men, because we feel that we are falling behind) It was meant to be a bigger thing but Henry didn't have enough time to announce it yet, so i'm sure next Sunday would have more guys.
We started praying around 7nish and ended at 10.30pm. It was really intense as it was more of a seeking God session, rather than just a normal prayer meeting. As we prayed in tongues and worshipped God, the Holy Spirit's presence could not be hidden. It was just so amazing, and each of s had our own unique experience. I realized how pure and childlike Rowan was in his faith in God, i had previously talked to him before, but i've never seen him share his experiences that were directly from his heart!
After our prayer we had a time of sharing, and Rowan just started pouring out all the wonderful amazing feelings that he had felt as we were worshipping! He was like a completely different person, full of confidence and everything came out really fluently. His expression on his face had changed and we could tell that he really really was excited and had experienced something so amazing. He's like this hidden treasure that no one really notices, but when you actually talk with him on a deeper level, you can really sense his deep love for God in his heart. Listening to him share, really touched me and i really respect him as a fellow brother in Christ who has this genuine desire for the word of God to be spread around. He was literally bursting with excitement!

Wow, this Sunday was really the Lord' day.. Everything was revolved around Him, and i hope to make everyday like another Sunday.

Wake up o sleeper from your slumber!

Now your presence fills this place, be exalted in our praise, as we worship i believe, You are near

Rise up, O men of God!
Have done with lesser things.
Give heart and soul and mind and strength
To serve the King of Kings.

Rise up, O men of God,
In one united throng.
Bring in the day of brotherhood
And end the night of wrong.

Rise up, O men of God!
The church for you doth wait,
Her strength unequal to her task;
Rise up, and make her great!

Rise up, O men of God!
Tread where His feet have trod.
As brothers of the Son of Man,
Rise up, O men of God!
