long and tiring day, but it was fun :) Thank You God!
Day 22.
So today i read about Joseph getting sold an Egyptian household where God's favour and blessings were upon him greatly! He found favour with his masters, and everything that he did, God prospered. And we can't also forget the important fact that he was well-built and handsome! I guess all these are just signs of showing when someone has found favour from God. But then all of a sudden things take a turn for the worse and somehow Joseph ends up in jail(basically coz the wife of the master lied about Joseph trying to sleep with her). And when you end up in a place like a jail for doing nothing wrong, I would naturally think that God's favour isn't upon me anymore, therefore bad things re happening to me.. e.g moving away from God's cover of protection? However we soon read that even while in jail, Joseph still had the favour of God, and God blessed him greatly as he was in the jail. To cut the long story short, at the end of the story, Joseph ends up being second to only the Pharaoh in the whole of Egypt! Joseph went through a lot of crazy things in his life from getting sold to merchants by his own brothers, then to getting accused of doing something which he was innocent of and getting sent to jail.. but finally through all these difficulties, God brought him through and Joseph ended up where he was meant to be. If Joseph had never been accused and sent to jail, i don't think he would have where God had placed him to be. So everything in life happens for a purpose when we follow God and obey His commands. But then the question i have is this: did God intend for Joseph to suffer all the humiliation and pain of betrayal, and false accusations? It must have been really painful for Joseph to go through them all..
Praise God it's a beautiful day, and I just have one thing to say. Nothing is better, than living my life for Jesus..
