1 more sleep!!! Well since i'll be in Sydney till next monday, i don't think i'll be able to put up my daily post on my devotions and stuff.. So i'll be on a short break from blogging, but i'll be sure to write down all my experiences from Hillsong, and i'll write a super long post when i get back on all the amazing and crazy things that happens in the Hillsong Conf '08!!
Just really quickly i'll just write down what i read today, since its really late and i gotta wake up at 6 tomorrow to go to the airport!
Day 3(The Flood)
Genesis 6:6-7
6 And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. 7 So the LORD said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.”
So what i found interesting when i read this was that firstly we see that God was grieved. So He too has feelings and can be hurt, secondly, God was sorry to have made man, in the order versions it said regretted. So God does make decisions that He regrets too? haha i found that a very interesting point, not sure if im right though, but it was said really clearly.. So would it mean that it's alright for us to grieve and regret about decisions we make? Since God does it too? But God loves us too much, and is a just God. We can be sure that there won't be anymore floods that will wipe out like all living things anymore. And there's the whole message on Jesus, and new life through Him! Praise God!
