aaaaaah feel so relaxed and so much more free now that exams are finally over. This isn't good for my health both physically and spiritually.. so next semester i really gotta do my studies regularly. God's really been blessing me in my exams, showing me what to study for, and helping me even though i haven't been studying throughout the semester.. Was my mistake but praise God, for He is a faithful God! Oh well, today was a great day of fellowship with fellow brothers and sisters.. great time of catching up, especially after the exams and everyone is feeling "free'er"(don't think there's such a word). After the exam, went to koorong with terrence and had lunch there, bought a chronological Bible, and a NIV Bible for xohn too since he didn't have one..then we headed over to Billy Hyde opposite the road and looked at acoustic electric guitars since both of us are planning on getting one and their on a sale right now. Never realised how expensive good guitars were haha.. Had heaps of fun hanging out with terrence, since the last time we hung out was when we were learning kungfu together from elva's dad haha.. Then headed over to Su's place and watched 300 the movie, which was cool but also heaps weird at the same time..i shan't go into detail(wouldn't really recommend watching it).. After that had dinner at dumpling king with a few others, then headed over to sam's place for a nice long chat :)
Fellowshipping, and just talking with others about stuff made me realised how far back i've fallen behind because of all these exams.. grrr.. time to catch up, can't afford to fall behind..
Anyway today as i was reading the Bible, something that spoke to me was Ephesians 2:10.
10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
So we are God's workmanship, which means that He is our creator(a plus!), and that we were created in Christ Jesus(another plus!), but also we've been created for good works!(another plus!). I'm glad that i've been created for good works, not just any kind of good works, but those that are considered 'good' by God's standard. Whats even more amazing is that these good works were prepared by God so that we shall walk in them. Like God didn't just prepare good works for us, it was so that we would walk in them, and in the process live life to the full potential that God has planned out for us!They were created for our benefit, out of God's love for us, that we may walk in them. Many times i fail to realise that certain things God ask me to do are for my own good. Like i would ask God what's the motive or His reason behind it, i know that i would never be able to understand it, but if only God would maybe reveal a bit of His plan to me.. Gotta remember that God only wants the best for us because he loves us, he will never put us in things that will just hurt us for no reason, it's all part of His plan that we may walk in them.. His plan is for us to walk in it, not just to know it and say that it is good, and do nothing else about it..
Your grace is more than enough for me...
