tonight's yaf worship was great! I could just come and relax in the presence and glory of God..it's like being in your own little realm where there's no one else besides you and God..As we were worshipping, all my cares and worries and concerns were handed all to God, and i knew that God would take care of it like He always does.
A verse that i heard today which was from aaron, which was given to him from someone was Phillipians 4:13. It was a really basic verse, but hearing it again really meant so much more this time.
13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
And especially when we were singing Faith during worship, the last line went something 'I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me!!~'. That reminded me once more that i can do literally ALL things THROUGH Christ, not by my might or by my will, but only through Christ who strengthens me. Amen! So my exams and everything i do from now on will be done through Christ, haha hope i never lose sight of my goal/finish line.
Anyway for devotion today, i flipped open my Bible and came to this passage again. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8.
1 To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:
2 A time to be born,
And a time to die;
A time to plant,
And a time to pluck what is planted;
3 A time to kill,
And a time to heal;
A time to break down,
And a time to build up;
4 A time to weep,
And a time to laugh;
A time to mourn,
And a time to dance;
5 A time to cast away stones,
And a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace,
And a time to refrain from embracing;
6 A time to gain,
And a time to lose;
A time to keep,
And a time to throw away;
7 A time to tear,
And a time to sew;
A time to keep silence,
And a time to speak;
8 A time to love,
And a time to hate;
A time of war,
And a time of peace.

It's pretty amazing if you read it a few times over..makes so much sense..All i can say is that may we be in right season that God has placed us in all the time! e.g don't be in a season of mourning when its meant to be a season of thanksgiving. Know God's time.

thank you for sharing once again and i want to tell you that I also read Ecclesiastes 2-3 on thursday for my devotion/Bible reading. It is great to know that God has everything planned for us all =), and each season is equally important. Even though some of the seasons may not be so pleasant in men' eyes, but we as children of God live on higher grounds. So let's rejoice and praise Him always.
P.S. last night worship was great as always, to be able to give God our everything and to be delights in His eyes! So excited to know that there is so much power in the name of Jesus!!!
