'ROAR!!' x 1000 is meant to be the sound of the lion that's roaring within me..got a word from anne at the prayer session tonight and its some about the lion of the tribe of Judah, and about a lion thats trapped within with no room to breathe. Then got a word from mary, which was pretty long as well, and i think it was about my age, and me not belittling myself because im young. Stig, spoke boldness into my life.. and lots of other things as well.. soo many things happened tonight and my brain is still in a mess so i'll just sleep over it.
Anyway just wanna highlight a verse that i read today. Jeremiah 31:21
21 "Set up road signs;
put up guideposts.
Take note of the highway,
the road that you take.
Return, O Virgin Israel,
return to your towns.
When i read it i found it pretty similar to our Isiah 62:10. Most probably because it had the word highway in it as well, and i rarely see the word highway appear in the Bible. We have been told to set up road signs and put up guideposts, the whole point of signs and guideposts is to give direction to people. Be it lost, or on their way, it is to show people direction to where they are heading to, or where they want to go. In our case is to point people in the direction of Jesus Christ, which in him is life. The third line in the NKJV version says 'Set your heart toward the highway, the way in which you went'. I feel that it has more depth by saying setting your heart towards something, compared to just taking note of it. We are to put out focus back on the highway, set our heart towards it, which was the way we went. It was referring to people who had backsliden, which was said in the following verse.
