Just gonna jump straight into devotion today. I read John 14. But i want to point out v28-31.
28"You heard me say, 'I am going away and I am coming back to you.' If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. 29I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe. 30I will not speak with you much longer, for the prince of this world is coming. He has no hold on me, 31but the world must learn that I love the Father and that I do exactly what my Father has commanded me.
"Come now; let us leave.
Hmmmm actually what really spoke to me was the last few words of v31. Since i was reading a NKJV version its a bit different.
31"But that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father gave Me commandment, so i do. Arise, let us go from here."
Two things that really spoke to me. 'As the Father gave Me commandment, so i do'. Wow, Jesus made obedience sound so easy..i wish it was that easy for me at times..Jesus was 100% human, and was also 100% obedient to God. Whatever the Father told him to do, He did. He never doubted God, or questioned the motive or reasons behind it. Jesus just did it. For me i find it hard being 100% obedient to what God tells me to do, since partial obedience and delayed obedience is disobedience. When God tells me to do something, i also feel uneasy, since its always something weird or not normal... Then i always end up doing it halfheartedly or just waiting for a long time before actually doing it. I realized that i haven't been totally obedient and yielded to God. Something i really got to work on(esp when God gives me something to pray for during corporate prayer..)
The other thing that hit me was the last 6 words. 'Arise, let us go from here'. That sounded more like lets get moving, or it's time for us to go sort of thing..But when i read it, it felt as though God was telling me to arise, stand up, rise up, move out, and move on from where i am. And that really spoke to me. It was as though God was saying that it was time for us to Arise! and go from here, because from here on its another new start! It is time for us to get moving! We got to wake up, arise from our slumber! Stop being so laid back and stagnant, we gotta get a move on for now is the time! Its time for advancement, when we move, we always go forward and never backwards.. God IS ON THE MOVE, NLCC ARISE!!! Let us go from here.

I was reading Isaiah 60:1 again just the other day. It IS time to arise!
I'm praying for you and know that as you REFUSE the flesh and determine in your heart to obey that will be what causes you to ARISE and move on from where you're at.
God bless you L!
