uhh didn't feel too good today.. woke up with cough, blocked nose, runny nose, and a sore throat.. it was really annoying especially since i had a long day of uni today. But somehow it seemed that i wasn't the only sick one at uni, in my lectures and tutes there were also quite a few people with coughs and runny noses. So it must be weather... Anyway im much better now with pretty much everything gone except for my blocked nose, which is gonna be a pain when i sleep. But im praying for healing so i believe that i will be totally healed by tomorrow! i can't afford to cause the people around me to be sick as well >.<
Day 66.
Just gonna highlight some of the verses that really stood out to me today as I was reading the Bible.
Dueteronomy 4:29, 31
29 But from there you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.
31 (for the LORD your God is a merciful God), He will not forsake you nor destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which He swore to them.
Dueteronomy 5:32-32
32 “Therefore you shall be careful to do as the LORD your God has commanded you; you shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. 33 You shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess.
Dueteronomy 6:4-5, 13, 25
4 “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one! 5 You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
13 Fear the LORD your God, worship Him, and take your oaths in His name.
25 Then it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to observe all these commandments before the LORD our God, as He has commanded us.’
Dueteronomy 7:9
9 “Therefore know that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments;
These are just some of the verses that really spoke to me and stood out as i was reading the Bible. Most of them are good reminders that just keeps me on track, and to remember who God says He is and what He will do. Found dueteronomy 5:32 really good, because i tend to wander off very easily..so it felt as though it was speaking directly to me, and telling me not to move to the right or to the left. We have to be CAREFUL to do what the LORD has commanded us to do, that means that we have to be alert, and take great care/caution to listen be obedient to God, and do what He has commanded us to do..Found that pretty important.
