Day 81.
Joshua 1:8
8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
This verse struck me as i was doing my devotion, and is a very good verse, definitely worth remembering. It is one of those verses which tells us what to do, and what will happen after we do it. What struck me in this verse was the second part, where it said "For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success." The word 'you' stood out to me. Who doesn't want to be prosperous and be successful? i do. That's why im always praying to ask God to help me and make me successful. But from this verse, who is the one that will make our way prosperous and successful? It is us! We are the ones who will make our own ways properous and successful. No one else can. And how do we do it? It is by meditating on God's Word day and night so that we will do everything that is written in it.
