Day 67.
The one thing i learnt today from reading the Bible is that all the stuff that the Israelites managed to accomplished and all the great works that had come out from them, was not by them, but from God. All the lands that they managed t obtain, and all the armies they defeated, it was not because they were good, or strong, or powerful, but it was because God fought for them, and God was their strength. The Israelites weren't even worthy or deserving of such things, many times in the Bible, the Israelites are called stiff-necked people who weren't even righteous in God's eyes. They rebelled against God many times, and made Him angry all the time..if not for God's promise to their ancestors, God would have killed them or let them die. But God is a faithful God, and keeps His word. What He says He will do, He will do it.
In the same way, we have to realize that everything we do and accomplish is not by our strength and by our might, or because we're good at what we do. But instead it is because God is good and gracious towards us and goes before us, enabling us to ave success in whatever we do. We have to realize that we are nothing and can do nothing without God. Our success is not due to hman worthiness, but to divine mercy. This is the same with our lives and for the church now.
