had a long day of uni, and it's just gonna get longer! Thank God that i have Him in my life, don't know what i'll do without Him.. Just something interesting, i realised that today i saw some of the people who went for the miracle encounter to get healing. e.g im 99% sure i saw the lady who came in the wheelchair who got shot in the back, i know she was healed at the encounter and left the first night walking.. but i saw her again today on my way to the bus stop, and she was back in her wheelchair! Not sure what happened.. Then i saw one of victor's blind friends who came to the miracle encounter, and i met Joe who had the stuttering problem. They all seem to still have their problems.. I realised how important it is to maintain the healing that you got, definitely gotta learn more about it.
Day 108.
God continues to lead and guide David. When Ziklag was raided by the Amalakites, David consulted God and God helped him to gain back all that was taken from him. Even when his life was being threatened by his own soldiers, the first thing David did was to turn to God. David walked close with God and as a result, he was blessed. Then there was Saul, who had turned away from God. When the Philistines had gathered to fight agaisnt Israel, Saul saw their camp and became afraid and trembled. Only when Saul was in great trouble and in need, then he remembered God and turned to Him for help, but God didn't answer Him. Why was that? Even Saul knew that the Lord had turned away from him, in his unfaithfulness God removed the kingship out of Saul's hand and into David's. Saul managed to get to Samuel's spirit through a medium (which i thought was pretty weird), and consulted Samuel. At the end, Samuel told Saul that the day after, he and his sons will be killed, and the Lord will hand Israel's army over to the Philistines. What God gives, He can take it away. This can be seen many times throughout the whole Bible. So lesson learnt, we have to treasure what we have been given, and not to lose what God has blessed us with. If we have been given something special from God, like a talent, or skill, or ability, we must make to use it the way God wants us to use it, and not take it for granted. If not God might just take it away from us one day, and then we will regret it.
