“Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices,
As in obeying the voice of the LORD?
Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice,
And to heed than the fat of rams.

Obedience is better than sacrifice. God says it in His word. For me personally, sometimes i can get so caught up with 'sacrificing' to God my time and energy through serving Him, and oversee His command to love, and to just do what He's told me to do. Serving God by sacrificing your time and finances are good, but being obedient to what He has called us to do is even more important! Hope we don't get too caught up in the motions and forget what it really is all about.
